Graphite Nylon is a filler-filled nylon plastic used to compact compact mechanical parts. The filler is graphite, which is high in content, making this material highly resistant.
Typical are unlubricated gears, bearings, anti-friction parts; quick-connect, brake or spring-loaded mechanical parts; painted automotive parts; electrical parts that can withstand high temperatures; use at high temperatures and resistant to hydrocarbons and Mechanical parts of solvents; mechanical parts requiring thin sections and requiring high strength; high-impact parts requiring high strength and high rigidity; monofilaments for fishing lines; chords; and films in contact with food.
Automotive applications include odometers and wiper gears. Wire wiring clamps and latches, connectors, exhaust canisters, reservoirs, dipsticks, engine fans and covers, air purifier housings, fuel system components. Front exhaust and painted exterior body parts. Light assembly, mirror housing, wheel load and door and window hardware.
Electrical/electronic applications include paper feeders, connectors, terminal components, lead posts, plug and socket covers, building conductor skins, overhead wires, antenna brackets and brackets, and bobbins.
Consumer applications include bicycle wheels. Skate bearings, casters, hair brushes and combs, power tool housings and handles, chain saws and monofilament weeder hooks.
Packaging applications include traditional food bags and food bags for microwave ovens, low oxygen permeability food packaging films, sausage packaging films and frozen food packaging materials.
