What is precision stamping parts? We can understand that parts with constant thickness during the processing are actually sheet metal parts that can be processed through stamping, bending, stretching, and other operations. What should we pay attention to when processing precision stamped parts? Let's take a look together.

、 Use a single process mold to punch some simple parts. Multiple stamping processes are used to punch complex shaped parts, and the structure or strength of the mold is limited. Its inner and outer contours should be divided into several parts for punching. For workpieces with high flatness requirements, a leveling operation can be added after the punching process.

、 The complexity of the structural shape determines the number of processes required for bending parts, which is determined by the number of bending angles, relative positions, and bending directions. Why do we sometimes add a shaping process after bending? This is because the bending radius of the bent part is less than the allowable value.

、 When we add a trimming process after the punching process or directly use a precision punching process, this is because the requirements for the cross-sectional quality and dimensional accuracy of the workpiece are relatively high

、 For the processing of metal stamping parts, our goal is to use the least and simplest stamping parts for processing. The designed stamping parts should have a simple shape and reasonable structure, which is conducive to stamping operations, not only improving labor productivity, but also facilitating the organization and production of stamping parts, as well as mechanized and automated production.

、 We need to determine the number of processes based on the existing mold making capacity and stamping equipment status of the enterprise. There is also a need for mold making capabilities to ensure that mold processing and assembly accuracy meet standards, otherwise only the number of processes can be increased.

、 The properties of the material, the height of the drawing, the number of steps drawn, the diameter of the drawing, and the thickness of the material determine the number of drawing processes, but it still requires calculation of the drawing process to determine. If the fillet radius of the deep drawn part is relatively small or the dimensional accuracy requirement is high, an additional shaping process should be added after the deep drawing is completed.

、 To improve the stability of the stamping process, we need to increase the number of processes to ensure the quality of the stamping parts. For example, additional positioning process hole punching for bent parts, and adding deformation reduction hole punching in forming processes to transfer deformation areas.
